October Has Been Fun

Here are some highlights from October.

We hung out with 750,000 of our closest friends at the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival.  Lucy did really well.  She had one meltdown (before falling asleep for a nap), but otherwise, she enjoyed people-watching and listening to the music.  She stuck to us like glue and didn't try to run off.  She got to play with her buddies Wesley and Rhodes.  And best of all, the weather was AMAZING!  Lucy wore a sundress with no sweater or jacket, which doesn't happen very often in San Francisco.

Snacking and people-watching

Fun day with great friends!

We went to our friend Teensy's first birthday party and had a blast in the bouncy house.

Can I live in here?!

We celebrated Erik's birthday.  HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY!!!

Surprise!

We went to visit our family in Bakersfield.  This was Lucy's first visit as a walker, and she had a great time investigating every nook and cranny of Grandma and Grandpa's house.  She especially enjoyed chasing bubbles (also one of her latest words) in the backyard and playing in her custom-designed-by-Grandma play zone.

Almost like waking up on Christmas morning!

Next up: Halloween!
